Steph's Love

As many of you know, I became a mom to a sweet baby boy, Steph Love Crosley, on August 9th, 2022. On January 14th, Steph was diagnosed with autism. While I had my suspicions, hearing the official diagnosis was still a mental hurdle, not because of shame, but out of a deep desire to overprotect him.

After taking the time to process everything, I shifted into action. If autism is part of Steph's journey, then we’re going to embrace it fully and make the very best of it. I’ve chosen to be open about this journey for a few important reasons:

  1. Sharing helps me embrace this reality and provides an emotional outlet.

  2. It allows us to shape and own our narrative.

  3. It spreads awareness, strengthens our community, and lets us support others navigating similar paths.

Steph's village is incredibly strong, and we are deeply grateful for all the love and support we’ve received so far. As we continue to advocate for Steph and ensure he has access to the resources he needs, it's equally important that his peers understand him and meet him where he is.

That’s why I created Steph's Love, a children’s book designed to raise autism awareness among kids. We can’t expect children to embrace neurodiversity unless they understand it first.

Whether you're a parent, someone who works with children, or simply a supporter of inclusion and education, we’d love for you to preorder this book. The official release is set for Steph’s birthday, August 9th, 2025,  seven months after his diagnosis.

Thank you so much for being part of our journey.

With so much love,

The Stephs
